Patented SBS Technology
An absolutely revolutionary innovation. Saeco Brewing System (SBS) allows you to make an infinite variety of coffee drinks from just one machine at the twist of a dial. Choose from the strongest ristretto shot with a thick crema to a milder coffee with less crema. The SBS dial adjusts the amount of pressure in the brewing chamber, so you can control the strength and extraction for each cup brewed.

Insta Steam
Insta Steam technology eliminates the normal waiting time between brewing coffee and steam output. The Primea Touch Plus has two separate boilers, which allows it to simultaneously froth milk and brew espresso.

Nanotechnology

Saeco Aroma System
Taste the full aroma of coffee beans in every cup. To optimize the coffee drinking experience, a special programmed step injects a small amount of hot water into the freshly ground coffee to start a pre-brewing process. This is done just before the actual brew cycle commences in order to extract the best aromas and flavors from the grounds.

Saeco Opti-Dose
The Opti-Dose system allows the user to adjust the amount of coffee that is ground for each individual cup. It adjusts from 7.5 to 10.5 grams of ground beans per brewing cycle, which affects the strength of the extracted espresso from mild to strong.

Programmable Brew Settings
The Primea Touch Plus is designed with 6 fully programmable brew settings. To program, simply touch and hold one of the icons until the desired amount of espresso is reached. With each drink, you can program the quantity of espresso and milk dispensed, temperature of the espresso, the amount of ground coffee used and more.

Pump System
The Primea Touch Plus features a powerful pump, rated at 15 bars(217.6 psi)of pressure. Authenic Italian coffee requires this steady pressure to produce a premium extraction.

Ceramic Disc Grinder
The Primea Touch Plus' ceramic disc grinder has 7 different settings, which will allow you to adjust the strength of the coffee. The ceramic grinder is Saeco's most recent innovation available in the Primea line of coffee machines. The ceramic grinder also provides an even grind, allowing perfect dosing and blending, giving you more control over the density and body of your coffee. Because ceramic is inert it will not absorb the flavor of the coffee overtime, it is much more durable and grinds considerably quieter.

Pre-Ground Bypass
The pre-ground bypass doser allows you to use pre-ground decaffeinated or flavored coffee without emptying the beans in the hopper.

Touch Lift Technology
The motorized drip tray can easily be raised or lowered allowing different cup sizes. Espresso cups can easily be accommodated, It is also removable for easy cleaning. No matter what you are in the mood for, we can fit the cup that goes with it.

Touch2Cappuccino
Prepare two cappuccinos with just one touch. The built-in milk container allows the user to make up to 4 cappuccinos. When the container is empty, the machine will stop brewing and the touch screen will display "Fill Milk Tank". The built-in Cappuccinatore froths perfect foam every single time.

Aqua Prima Water Filter
With the Aqua Prima filter the number of flavor-altering substances found in your water is greatly reduced. Impurities are filtered out of your water, leaving you to enjoy the improved flavor and full aroma of your coffee.

Built-in 68 Ounce Water Tank
The water reservoir can easily be refilled while it is still on the machine or by removing it with the easy-grip handle and filling it at the kitchen tap. The reservoir is made of clear ABS plastic so checking the water level is a breeze.

Coffee Bean Storage Hopper
Keeping 1/4 pounds of coffee beans fresh and ready for grinding is the built in lidded coffee bean hopper.

Internal Dregdrawer
The internal dregdrawer is where the Primea Touch Plus deposits the coffee after the brewing process, holding up to 15 spent coffee portions. Once full the touch screen will show that it needs to be emptied. Remove the dregdrawer, empty contents, rinse and replace the container into the machine, Once these steps are completed the machine is ready to brew again.

Cup Warming Surface
Stack several porcelain or ceramic cups on this large and convenient heating surface. The cup warming surface keeps your cups and espresso at an optimal temperature while enhancing the full flavors and aromas extracted from the bean.

Removable Drip Tray
A single tray can be removed from the front of the machine containing the cup tray and drip pan. Made of durable ABS plastic, it cleans easily with soap and water. (Not dishwasher safe)

Small wheels have been placed on the base of the machine to simplify general maintenance and cleaning. The entire machine will rotate with a light push for easy accessibility of all the components. Saeco offers a two year parts and labor warranty.

Cleaning & Maintenance of Components

In order to keep the inside of your machine healthy; your machine must be cleaned periodically. Scale buildup from naturally occurring minerals in your water can build up on sensitive components like the inside of the boiler, which left unchecked, can cause considerable damage to the machine. By descaling your machine every two-three months, your machine will last for many trouble-free years.

The machine will tell you when it's time to activate the self-clean system by when the light comes on. After adding our cleaner, just press the clean button. The machine will take it from there. Descaling and general cleaning is important even if you have a sophisticated water filter system, and especially if you use well water.

Used coffee grounds are collected in the internal dump box, which can hold up to 15 spent portions of coffee before it requires emptying. Wastewater left over from the rinsing cycles is stored in a removable drip tray. When the indicator lights illuminates, simply pull out the tray, empty and reinsert in seconds. All components such as the used grounds container, drip tray, and water tank can be hand washed with regular soap and water.
